West Slope Water District operates as a municipal corporation providing domestic water service to residential and commercial customers, along with water for fire protection. Their primary goal is delivering safe, clean municipal water at sufficient rates to generate adequate revenue while minimizing costs.
The District is located in Washington County, west of Portland, bordered by Multnomah County to the east and Beaverton to the west. Highway 26 forms the northern boundary, while the Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway generally marks the southern edge. Established in 1922, the District covers approximately three-and-a-half square miles and serves around 10,300 residents.
