The setting up of the system was straightforward. It would of being easier if you provided/recommended the flex line connector that go between the filter outlet to the water softener inlet. I bought the two flex lines you offered and could only use one from the water softener outlet to the house return.
Looks good, works great! Water feels like silk on the skin and family really notices a difference! No more ugly calcium deposits in bath/shower and around fixtures! I love all the advanced features around regeneration and less salt use, too! An amazing value for the money vs. what else is out there, and I've owned some of the best!
This was is a super easy installation. This unit uses approximately 1/3 less salt than my old General Electric all in one water softener. We are extremely happy with the unit.

Very good, our hard water was changed to “0” . The other contaminates are all “0” also. Like chlorine etc. I was able to install it with my grandson; just took our time but we figured it out because Water Pro has excellent customer support- just had to give them a call; they responded very promptly after I left a message.

This is a very nice water softener with some really good features that promise to cut down on salt and water usage. The instruction manual was good and eay to follow. The only negative comment I have is the instruction manual does not have any details for the checking and setting up the brine tank. The brine tank did not fill correctly and the softener did not regen correctly when first placed in service. After removing all of the salt, It was discovered the brine well was not inserted correctly in the salt support. This resulted in the the brine slots to be blocked by salt and inhibited proper operation. The high level float was also set too high. Once these two items were corrected, the water softener worked correctly.
Had to replace a softener of ten years, suddenly. Research showed the unit had very high marks. Ordered quickly, and it arrived quickly. Was able to install myself, following the instructions. It has done a fantastic job. Very pleased.
The soft water is lovely. It has only had to regenerate twice in 30 days unlike my older unit--Very efficient. I like the display showing the usage, flow rate and remaining charge in gallons. Great product.
The entire system was very easy to Install using the flex hose kit (an additional item to order). The installation time, included cutting two copper pipes, took about an hour (after unboxing the system components) for about 1.5 people's effort. This system replaced an existing softener so there was no additional plumbing required.
Prior to installing the entire system we pre-conditioned the carbon filter tank using two garden hoses and the supplied adapters, which took less than an hour overall, including a 45 min fill and carbon soak period and a flush of the carbon media.
The only improvement I can think of would be for the company to review, update and reorganize the installation manuals. They reflected poorly on an otherwise good product, in my opinion.
The product arrived on time per the shedule provided, it was in great shape suffering no damage the Christmas Holidays. I installed it myself and it was straight forward. After competion I googled how long before we would notice it softening the water and got the answer nearly immediately. Sure enought once we used the water from lined that existed prior to the water softener start-up we saw instantly softer water. We have now eliminated skum build up chemicals from dishwasher and washer. Excellent effectiveness. We are very happy. I highly recommend the product.
Very easy install. Little SNAFU on the house side. Water inlet and outlet were reversed in my house compared to the unit. But the flex hoses seem to be doing the job. Currently on its first regen cycle. Brought to light a bad shutoff valve from the main water line…so that got done as well. Setup is as simple as advertised.
We live in an area with extremely hard water and I knew that when we bought this house, we would need a Water softener. I was thrilled to find the Softpro Elite.
It was easy to order. It runs quietly and the water is so much better. The one thing I would like to see an improvement from this company is the speed in which we receive the equipment. My shipment was delayed for over a week and then when we received it, we had a broken valve, which had to be replaced before we could install it. If it hadn’t been for Rhea, I’m not sure if we would still have received it. She was really helpful in getting our Water softener here as well as getting the replacement part.
But now that it is all installed, everything is great.
Really nice system, not too hard to install if you’re handy and follow directions. I utilized 1” copper and formed everything for my custom install. System works very well, and has made a significant improvement in water quality for our home.
I was able to hook it up on my own but there was some small leaks at the plastic fittings supplied so I asked my plumber neighbor to assist and we just needed more plumbing tape to shore everything up. The plastic screen on the computer does fall off when bumped so I had to tape that up.
It seems to be working fine for the softening. I have a couple of questions though. I thought that after regenerating the brine tank was supposed to be refilled with water. How much water does the regen process use. That is the reason that I did not give it five stars. I am not sure if it is functioning properly.

Hello, Thank you for contacting us and we would be happy to reach out via a call. The Unit you purchased does not use very much salt, its only going to require around 3 gallons in the salt tank. If you added salt to it, you will most likely not see the water unless looking down the Brine valve and float housing ( White Tube in the salt tank). As for the waste water or water used during regeneration it is only around 30 gallons per regeneration.

Easy to install, everything is straight forward. Unit looks nice, sleek, and compact, doesn't stick off the wall that much compared to other control heads. The gallon countdown till next regen is very helpful and can be used for many things. It stays on the display the whole time and can be used to track your gallons of water consumed per day with a little math. Also can be used in leak detection if you have a leak the gallons will go down indicating water is being used. The 48,000 grain system has 1800 gallons between regens. Here's a secret tip you can use sprinkler funny pipe for the discharge drain line fits perfectly and is very sturdy. Also don't use pipe dope on the fittings for water piping as per manufacture just use teflon tape. I'm a pro and have installed many brands, the Soft Pro System seems to be well built
Water softener was very simple to install, along with the whole house filter, especially with the correct hoses provided. It took longer watching the water flow clear from each individual unit then actually hooking it up. Programming was a breeze. Nice to find videos on YouTube that gives additional help along with the manuals. As far as performance, cannot comment due that I just installed it today. Had some problems getting the correct hoses but Rhea helped in getting that taken care of.

Q: Can I install the SoftPro Elite water softener myself?
A: Yes. The SoftPro Elite water softener is designed for easy DIY installation, and most homeowners finish in 2 to 3 hours with basic plumbing tools.

Not comfortable with plumbing? A local handyman or licensed plumber can install your SoftPro Elite in under 2 hours, typically for $150 to $300. Either way, our live support experts are a call away at 855-683-8488 (Mon–Fri, 9am–7pm CST) to guide you through any step.
Q: What size are the system components? (tanks with valve, etc)

Q: How much salt does the softener take?
A: This is our customer‘s favorite aspect…
With this HE system, a typical household will only use a 40 lb. bag of salt every 2-4 months.
This is an industry top-of-the-line water softener system that achieves an unprecedented true, high-efficiency performance. The build quality and performance design greatly minimizes the amount of salt that is normally used with a common water softener.
Q: Will the system reduce the water pressure in my home?
A: Good news… With this system, your home should experience no reduction in water pressure, or very little.
This system is designed for high-flow performance. It’s engineered with large 1” and larger internal plumbing to keep that water pressure up. This is usually more than adequate for large homes.
Q: How often does the system regenerate?
A: Only about twice a month.
On average, this high-efficiency system will regenerate about every 14 days. This will depend on your water usage and quality.
Q: Would you install my system or recommend a local installer near me?
A: For the “best bang for the buck”, installation could be done with basic plumbing knowledge as Do-it-yourself “DIY”, with a friend, or local handyman.
Our install guides, videos are detailed and laid out in an easy to follow format that most people with basic plumbing knowledge can install. Our support team is also well experienced, available and eager to advise. They have helped thousands of DIY and local handyman easily complete the install.
Q: Where are you located?
A: Our headquarters is in the cold-weather City of Box Elder, South Dakota (That’s in western South Dakota). Many of our team members do work remotely like California, Arizona and Texas.
Our systems ship from warehouse locations in Texas, Arizona and Indiana depending on where we have your system built… Typically, the nearest warehouse to your home.
Q: How do we handle repairs & service?
A: The team will work with you to assess the issues by phone, video, chat and email.
Once the issue is identified, our team will make the appropriate solution. If needed, we may mail a replacement part or return the entire unit (this only happens due to extremely rare situations). We very commonly resolve issues quickly and easily.
Replacement parts are very simple to replace, and our support team is always available.
