About Us Sharyland Water Supply Corporation was established by a group of community-focused individuals in the 1960s. With assistance from Farmers Home Administration, they secured funding to develop a rural water infrastructure. Initially, 700 property owners committed to water service upon completion of construction.
Today, over 40 years later, the system serves more than 16,000 water connections. The Corporation manages approximately 100 square miles of Certified Area, 800 miles of water lines, two operational water plants (with a third under construction), four elevated storage tanks, and has plans for additional system improvements underway.
Our office located at the intersection of Shary Road and 5 Mile Line features a spacious lobby and three drive-through payment lanes for customer convenience. The Corporation employs 38 staff members and is governed by a 7-member Board of Directors, all dedicated to ensuring Sharyland Water Supply Corporation maintains the highest quality service possible.
