About Us
The Utilities Department presents this Consumer Confidence Report as a transparent record of our municipal water quality. This report compiles data from daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual laboratory analyses. Unless otherwise noted, this report reflects monitoring results from January 1 to December 31, 2015, with some pre-2015 data included from the most recent testing conducted under applicable regulations.
The Town of Tequesta is proud to report that your municipal water exceeds all quality parameters. This achievement stems from our advanced membrane treatment technology, ongoing infrastructure rehabilitation, and dedicated staff responsible for water treatment, testing, and distribution.
Our Utilities Division is engaged in numerous projects, not only for new development but also for rehabilitating existing infrastructure both at the treatment plant and throughout our distribution network. This essential work helps maintain high water quality from our plant to your tap.
Water conservation remains crucial as we comply with groundwater withdrawal limitations. Please continue your conservation efforts by repairing leaks, installing water-efficient fixtures and toilets, and maintaining conservation habits.
While production costs for quality water continue to rise, the benefit to you as our customer remains tremendous and represents excellent value. The Village of Tequesta delivers the "Best Tasting Water" to your home every day of the year.
Mike Heady, Deputy Director of Utilities
