Utilities, Inc. of Georgia draws water from five wells approximately 420 feet deep into the Upper Floridan aquifer. This water undergoes chlorine disinfection treatment. The Upper Floridan aquifer generally provides excellent water requiring minimal treatment, though our region follows strict conservation guidelines to protect this resource. The Georgia Environmental Protection Division completed a Source Water Assessment Strategy (SWAP) for The Landings Water System, rating each source as having "high susceptibility." This rating identifies potential pollution sources near each well but doesn't indicate poor water quality—only the possibility of contamination from assessed sources. 1. What is the minimum invoice amount? The minimum bill for residential accounts is $63.39, which includes waste services, up to 2,000 gallons of water, and up to 2,000 gallons of sewage.
2. Can I put a credit on my account? Yes, any credit will automatically apply to your next bill.
3. Do you offer a pool filling credit? No, we do not provide credits for pool filling.
4. Is there a sewage usage credit available? No, we do not offer sewage credits.

6. How do I sign up for trash service? Trash service registration is available at the Utility Billing Office.
7. When will my water service be activated? We attempt to activate all water service the same day if requested before 2:30 PM, though this isn't guaranteed. Any activation not completed same-day will be processed the next business day.
