Every regulated substance detected in our water supply, even in minimal quantities, is listed here. The table includes each substance's name, maximum allowable level per regulations (MCL), ideal public health targets, detected amounts, typical contamination sources, footnotes explaining findings, and measurement unit references. As authorized by EPA, the State has reduced monitoring requirements for certain contaminants to less frequent than annual testing since these contaminants' concentrations typically remain stable year to year. ABOUT US - Serving Osceola
Established in October 2003 through special Florida legislature action, Toho Water Authority (TWA) stands as Osceola County's largest provider of water, wastewater, and recycled water services. Currently serving over 100,000 customers across Kissimmee, Poinciana, and unincorporated Osceola County areas, Toho's service network is extensive.
Toho manages 13 water treatment facilities and 8 wastewater facilities. With a workforce exceeding 300 professionals, the utility processes approximately 37.5 million gallons of potable water and reclaims 27 million gallons of wastewater daily. A five-member board of directors governs Toho, overseeing all operational policies and its $124 million operating budget.
