The Sultan Basin watershed, which supplies Spada Reservoir, is protected and regularly patrolled. This watershed receives over 160 inches of annual rainfall. Water flows from Spada Reservoir through pipelines to Chaplain Reservoir. At this location, the pristine mountain water undergoes treatment at Everett's filtration facility before distribution.

From source to tap, the water is continuously monitored to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations along with Everett's stringent local standards. Throughout its journey to your home, the water undergoes frequent microbiological and chemical testing to guarantee safety with every use.

The City of Everett provides this water to their customers and numerous other water utilities. Edmonds purchases Everett's water through Alderwood Water District, which also supplies several other water utilities throughout Snohomish County.
