The Town of Ellettsville Utilities operates as a municipally owned water and wastewater provider. It's supervised by Bynum Fanyo Utilities, a private management firm specializing in utility oversight.

The water system includes 90 miles of water mains and two storage tanks with a combined capacity of 1 million gallons. Currently serving approximately 4,800 customers, the facility maintains average daily flows of 0.9 MGD (Million Gallons per Day).

The sanitary sewer infrastructure features the Ellettsville Wastewater Treatment Plant, which also serves Northern and Eastern Richland Sewer Corporations. With roughly 22 miles of sewer mains in the collection network, the utility provides service to about 4,000 customers and processes daily flows of 1.1 MGD.
