About Us
We're pleased to present this year's Annual Municipal Water Quality Report. This document details the quality standards of water and services we deliver to your household daily. Our primary mission is to provide you with safe, reliable municipal water.
We want to share the efforts we continuously make to enhance our water treatment processes and protect our valuable water resources. We remain dedicated to ensuring the highest quality of your water supply.
Our water resources have been identified as groundwater sources. We draw our water supply from several key locations: Upper Cold Water Spring, Rice Creek Spring, Wells 1, 2 and 3, North Ogden Canyon Spring, Lakeview Heights Well (also known as Well 4), and Lower Cold Water Spring.
The Municipal Water Source Protection Plan for North Ogden City is available for review at our city offices. This plan contains vital information about source protection zones, potential contamination sources, and strategies we implement to safeguard our municipal water. Common potential contamination sources in our protected areas include septic systems, roadways, operational or abandoned wells, agricultural chemicals, car washes, beauty salons, parks, nurseries, laundromats, print shops, medical facilities, dental offices, veterinary clinics, automotive service centers, quick lube locations, and tire shops. Our assessment has determined that our sources have a low vulnerability level to potential contamination. We've also developed comprehensive management strategies to further shield our resources from possible contamination.

Ashlie Devaughn has recently been honored as Employee of the Month by the North Ogden City Council. As a court assistant with nearly two years of service, Ashlie received recognition for her exceptional initiative in fulfilling her responsibilities.
For instance, when Utah passed legislation in 2018 requiring courts to conduct an "Order to Show Cause" hearing before issuing warrants for unpaid fines, Ashlie proactively developed a systematic procedure and created form letters. These communications target individuals with 90-day overdue fines, alerting them to potential issues and encouraging them to address their outstanding payments in court.
Her colleagues appreciate that she consistently asks thoughtful questions and maintains excellent preparation standards. The court acknowledges Ashlie's valuable contributions to maintaining smooth operations throughout the department.
