The Water Source Protection Plan for Saratoga Springs is available for your review. It contains vital information about source protection zones, potential contamination sources, and management strategies to safeguard your tap water. Our water sources are situated in remote, protected areas with low vulnerability to potential contaminants. We've implemented additional management strategies to further shield these sources from contamination.
Please contact us with any questions about our source protection plan. While properly installed and maintained connections to the water distribution system present minimal concerns, unauthorized or incorrectly installed piping and connections can adversely affect water quality. Cross connections may allow pollutants or chemicals to enter the water supply system when proper protection is absent. This not only compromises water quality but may also impact your health.
You can help by preventing improper connections at your home. Even an unprotected garden hose lying in puddles or near fertilizers creates a cross connection risk. When these connections exist in your home, they affect your family first. For more information on protecting our water quality, please contact us.

To learn more, attend our regularly scheduled meetings held on the first and third Tuesdays of each month at 7:00 PM at City Hall (1307 North Commerce Drive).
Saratoga Springs routinely monitors constituents in our municipal water as required by Federal and Utah State laws. The table in our annual report shows monitoring results from January 1st to December 31st, 2017. All water, including bottled water, naturally contains small amounts of some substances. Remember that the presence of these constituents doesn't necessarily indicate a health risk.
