We're pleased to present our 2017 Annual Water Quality Report. This document provides information about the quality of water and services we deliver to you daily. Our primary goal is to provide reliable, high-quality municipal water to all residents.

We want you to understand the efforts we make to continuously improve our water treatment processes and protect our valuable water resources. We remain committed to ensuring the highest quality standards for your tap water.

Water Sources: Our supply comes from nine springs in Payson Canyon and four underground wells located within Payson City limits.

Source Protection: The Drinking Water Source Protection Plan for Payson is available for your review. It contains information about protection zones, potential contamination sources, and management strategies. Common potential contamination sources in our protection areas include septic systems, roadways, and residential developments. Our wells and springs have been assessed as having low susceptibility to potential contamination.

Payson City regularly monitors water quality according to Federal and Utah State regulations. The data table in our full report shows monitoring results from January through December 2017. Some constituents are tested at intervals of three, four, or six years, with the most recent sample dates provided.
