About Us
We're pleased to share this year's Annual Water Quality Report (Consumer Confidence Report) covering January 1 – December 31, 2017. This report provides insights about your water's source, contents, and compliance with standards established by regulatory agencies.
We continuously monitor for substances required by the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) and IDEM (Indiana Department of Environmental Management). Our mission is to deliver safe, reliable municipal water to your home.
For questions about this report, please call Ramsey Water at 812-347-2551. To learn more about your water utility, we welcome you to attend our Annual Meeting held the second Monday in January at 7:30 pm at our office (415 Highway 64 NW).
Your municipal water comes from two distinct sources: wells in the Ohio River Basin (Crawford County) and purchased water from Indiana-American Water Company (wells in Clark County). We maintain a source water assessment plan at our office that examines geology and potential contamination risks within the Wellhead Protection Area.
