Tri Special Utility District began operations as Tri-Water Corporation in 1966 with approximately 160 customers. In 2004, the organization transitioned to a Special Utility District (SUD), extending service to rural regions across three counties.
Currently, Tri SUD maintains over 5,000 meter connections throughout Titus, Morris and Franklin counties. We purchase water from Mount Pleasant, Texas, which is sourced from Lake Bob Sandlin. Our infrastructure includes 15 pump stations/storage towers, and we distribute roughly 35,000,000 gallons monthly.
