  1. WHAT ARE THE FEES AND CHARGES FOR WATER SERVICE? All fees can be found under the Services section.
  2. HOW DO I APPLY FOR WATER SERVICE? Complete a Customer Application Form, Payment Information Form, and Cross Connection Survey, then fax them with a copy of your valid driver's license. An application fee applies based on property ownership status. Property owners must fax a Settlement Statement, Purchase Agreement, or Warranty Deed. Renters must fax the first page of their Rental Agreement. You may also apply in person at our office.
  3. WHY DO I RECEIVE A BILL EVEN THOUGH I HAVE NOT USED ANY WATER? Active accounts incur a minimum fee each billing cycle, representing your portion of system operational overhead. This minimum bill ensures you maintain access to service whenever needed.
  4. I HAVE NOT RECEIVED A BILL IS MY PAYMENT STILL DUE? Not receiving your bill doesn't eliminate your payment obligation. Please contact our office at 423-344-8440 to determine the amount due.
  5. CAN I PAY MY BILL ONLINE OR WITH A CREDIT CARD? S.V.U.D. doesn't currently accept credit cards in-office, but you can view your bill, payment history, and make payments through our Online Bill Pay system. We plan to offer additional payment options in the future.
