Catalytic Carbon Media Granulated Activated Carbon For All Carbon Filters.

One of the most promising and popular options for filters within the purification industry is the Catalytic Carbon. The Catalytic Carbon is positively charged and attributes a high density of micro-pores which offers the very best filtering of contaminants.

Not only is it efficient at getting rid of sediments, but this media is also efficient in getting rid of negative ions (e.g. chlorine, chloramine, and dissolved natural substances), VOCs, and undesirable tastes & odors from your water, supplying your whole household with fresh clean water.

Highlights:

Better able to adsorb volatile natural chemicals
Removes pesticides and herbicides
Removes halogens from the water
High porosity: very best filtering of contaminants
Good resistance to wear
Improves the taste and appearance of water

What is Catalytic carbon?

Catalytic carbon is created by altering the surface structure of activated carbon. It is modified by gas processing at high temperatures to change the electronic structure and create the highest level of catalytic activity on carbon for reducing chloramine and H2S in water. This added catalytic functionality is much greater than that found in traditional activated carbons. Catalytic carbon is an economical solution to treat H2S levels as high as 20 to 30 ppm
