About Us
All municipal water sources are vulnerable to both natural and human-caused contamination. Groundwater can be affected by various land uses and activities in the area. As water flows across the surface or underground, it may collect various substances or pollutants such as microorganisms, inorganic and organic chemicals, and radioactive materials.
Microbial contaminants, including bacteria and viruses, typically originate from sewage treatment facilities, septic systems, agricultural operations, and wildlife habitats.
