Q: What is the address for mailing in bills?

A: Payments should be mailed to Arizona Water Company P.O. Box 29098 Phoenix, AZ 85038-9098 Fax: 602-240-6874

Q: How can I update my mailing address for payments?

A: You can visit your local Arizona Water Company office to complete a Customer Information Change form, or email your local office with: (1) account name, (2) account number, (3) previous address, and (4) new address.

Q: When I leave home for several months, can I temporarily stop water service?

A: You have two options:

  1. Final Bill: Service is disconnected with a final bill issued. Reestablishing within 12 months requires paying back minimums or 8x the minimum (whichever is less).
  2. Courtesy Off: Service is disconnected until you request reconnection. Monthly minimum charges continue during this period, typically used for vacant properties.

Q: Is there a fee for courtesy turn-on or turn-off service?

A: Arizona Water Company provides this service free during normal business hours (Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM) with three days' notice. After-hours service incurs a $35 fee.

Q: Who can enroll in SurePay?

A: All residential and business customers in good standing without existing payment arrangements.

Q: What does SurePay participation cost?

A: Arizona Water Company charges no sign-up or participation fees, though some financial institutions may charge for electronic transfers.

Q: How will I know when my SurePay enrollment is active?

A: Within 1-2 billing cycles, your water bill will display a notice showing the first automatic deduction date. Continue regular payments until then.

Q: What happens if a SurePay payment is rejected?

A: Your financial institution may reject payments for insufficient funds, closed accounts, or other reasons (possibly with their own fees). Arizona Water Company will add its service fee to your next bill and reserves the right to terminate SurePay participation.

Q: How do I identify Arizona Water Company employees?

A: All employees wear uniforms with company logos, drive branded vehicles, and carry photo ID badges. Staff will never request home entry to "check water" and only enter homes for customer-requested water audits.
