About Us
Jackson County Water Company, Inc. is proud to present our Annual Water Quality Report for 2017. We take great pride in our service and this report details the quality of water we deliver to you daily. Our primary goal is providing you with safe, reliable municipal water.
We want you to understand our ongoing efforts to improve treatment processes and protect our water resources. Approximately 95% of our customers receive water from our new treatment facility, which draws groundwater from the Teays Valley Aquifer. The remaining customers receive water from:
- City of Jackson (surface water from Hammertown and Jisco Lake Reservoirs)
- Scioto Water Inc. (groundwater from Scioto River Valley Aquifer)
- Village of Oak Hill (groundwater treated by Jackson County Water Company and Scioto Water Company)
We're pleased to confirm our water meets all federal and state requirements for safety. We had one administrative violation last year related to sampling dates rather than actual contaminant levels (details in the notice following our test results tables).
We want you to feel confident about the quality of water Jackson County Water provides to your home. Our team remains committed to delivering safe, clean water to all our customers.

Local residents should review annual water quality reports to stay informed about their water supply and any potential concerns that may require additional home filtration.
