A Time-Tested Tradition... Our History
Following a severe drought in Travis County in April 1967, concerned farm families gathered to discuss establishing a Farmers Home Administration Water System. This forward-thinking group, with assistance from the Farmers Home Administration, secured building expertise and financing to implement their plan.
Since then, our membership has grown to over 8,000 members, with service areas expanded to include both rural and urban areas in the previously mentioned cities and towns. We've made significant investments in long-term planning, with current capital development and expansion projects underway to ensure Manville Water Supply Corporation remains ahead of Central Texas growth. MWSC is an equal opportunity provider and employer.
