Warren County Utility District Municipal Water Report Info

Warren County Utility District was formally established as a municipal organization through an Order of the County Executive of Warren County, Tennessee, on May 19, 1981. The District is authorized to conduct, operate, and maintain facilities for providing water, water storage, and related services.

The District operates under the guidance of five Board Commissioners. Currently serving over 7,800 customers across Warren, Grundy, DeKalb, Van Buren, Cannon, and Sequatchie counties, the District manages a water treatment facility, pumping stations, and water tanks from its McMinnville headquarters.

Their water supply comes from the Collins River. The treatment plant can process up to 4.0 million gallons daily, with current usage averaging 1.6 million gallons per day. Storage facilities include six water tanks holding 5.3 million gallons of potable water. The District maintains memberships with both the Tennessee Association of Utility Districts and the American Waterworks Association.
