Willows Water District is dedicated to maintaining a cutting-edge water system while delivering high-quality water and exceptional service at reasonable rates. As a distributor of Denver water for over 85 years, we ensure fresh, safe water reaches our customers daily.

Our team of chemists and biologists rigorously test Denver's water supply to meet the highest federal and state safety standards before it reaches your tap. The District's headquarters, located at 6930 S Holly Circle in Centennial, has been operational since March 14, 2003.

In 2002, the Board of Directors approved payment of all outstanding general obligation bonds totaling $2,983,511.27, eliminating the debt service portion of property taxes effective 2003.

Following our Master Meter Agreement with Denver Water to secure long-term supply, Willows sold its non-tributary groundwater resources (6,000 acre-feet) to East Cherry Creek Valley Water and Sanitation District for $18.5 million. This sale was finalized in 2001 after receiving judicial approval.

With the proceeds, Willows paid Denver Water the system development charges for all water taps in our service area, achieving our 20-year goal of acquiring a renewable water supply for our community.
