Washington Water Utility Companies

Arlington's municipal water comes from three key sources. Most supplies originate from the Haller and Airport well fields. The Haller field naturally filters Stillaguamish River water through riverbank infiltration, while the Airport field taps into a deep aquifer. Both sources are replenished by precipitation that falls across the Stillaguamish Basin.

The city supplements these sources with purchased water from Snohomish County Public Utility District (PUD), which comes from Everett's Spada Reservoir near the Sultan River headwaters. In 2017, these combined sources produced 1,669 acre-feet of water for Arlington residents.
