City of Hereford Municipal Water Report Info

Welcome to the City of Hereford's website. We've designed this platform to be user-friendly and informative, aiming to exceed expectations in providing residents with essential information and superior customer service.

Our Finance/Water Office handles account billing, record maintenance, and payment collection for water, wastewater, and solid waste services. This department works closely with Utility Maintenance to ensure accurate rate structures for all city services.

The Wastewater department oversees treatment processes and maintains both the plant and pump stations. We utilize an activated sludge process with extended aeration mode. Our main lift station features three 100 hp pumps that transport the daily average flow of 1.2 mgd to the City Farm, where two aerated lagoons in series with one storage pond can hold up to 160 MG of treated effluent before irrigation. Our mission is to thoroughly remove all contaminants before returning water to the environment.
