About Us
Substances Found in Water: Sources of municipal water (including tap and bottled water) encompass rivers, lakes, streams, ponds, reservoirs, springs, and wells. As water travels across land surfaces or through underground layers, it dissolves naturally occurring minerals and, in some cases, radioactive substances. It can also pick up materials from animal presence or human activities.
