About Us
St. Helens has released its 2017 water quality assessment, highlighting testing results alongside conservation tips and utility billing information. The City's water consistently meets or exceeds all federal standards established by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
The Oregon State Health Division requires the City to collect 15 routine water samples monthly from designated locations throughout St. Helens, testing primarily for microbiological contaminants. Additional periodic testing checks for substances like arsenic, cyanide, lead, and mercury.
Under the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA), the City must provide an annual Consumer Confidence report to all customers. This report was mailed to all utility account holders on June 18, 2018.
