East Cherry Creek Valley Water and Sanitation District Municipal Water Report Info
Our mission at East Cherry Creek Valley Water and Sanitation District (ECCV) centers on community focus and regional integration, distinguishing us from other water providers. We live by our core purpose: "Supporting Our Community By Providing Safe, Reliable Water." This commitment has enabled us to build a stable, efficient, and customer-oriented organization.

ECCV has established itself as a leader in sustainable water supply planning and continuously works to foster regional cooperation. We serve approximately 50,000 customers throughout eastern Centennial and unincorporated Arapahoe County with both water and sanitation services.

As a Colorado Special District governed under Colorado Revised Statute Title 32, our Board of Directors is elected directly by district voters. The Board meets publicly twice monthly—on the second and fourth Thursdays—to develop strategies ensuring consistent water service. They oversee residential water usage while actively securing future water supplies for our community.

ECCV values regional partnerships with organizations, authorities, and municipalities to deliver comprehensive water and sanitation solutions. These collaborations focus on addressing future needs by securing water rights, developing robust infrastructure, and managing water transportation and storage.

Our partnerships include American Water Works Association (AWWA), Arapahoe County Water and Wastewater Authority (ACWWA), Southeast Metro Stormwater Authority (SEMSWA), South Metro Water Supply Authority (SMWSA), and the WISE Project (Water Infrastructure and Supply Efficiency).
