Quality First: We are pleased to present our annual water quality report. As in previous years, our utility remains dedicated to delivering the highest quality tap water possible. We continuously monitor emerging regulations, protect our water sources, and implement conservation measures while meeting the needs of all residents.

Lead in Home Plumbing: Lead in water primarily comes from materials used in service lines and household plumbing fixtures. If present, elevated lead levels can cause serious health concerns, especially for pregnant women and young children. While we provide high-quality water, we cannot control materials used in plumbing components. When water sits for several hours, you can minimize lead exposure by flushing your tap for 30 seconds to 2 minutes before using water for consumption.

Important Health Information: Nitrate levels above 10 ppm present health risks for infants under six months old, potentially causing blue baby syndrome. Nitrate levels may rise rapidly due to rainfall or agricultural activity. If you care for an infant and nitrate levels exceed 5 ppm, consult your healthcare provider.

Vulnerable populations may face greater risks from water contaminants. People with compromised immune systems, cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy, organ transplant recipients, those with HIV/AIDS, some elderly individuals, and infants should seek advice from healthcare providers regarding drinking water safety.

Substances in Your Water: To ensure safety, Arizona Department of Environmental Quality sets limits on contaminants in public water systems. Water sources (tap and bottled) include rivers, lakes, streams, ponds, reservoirs, springs, and wells. As water travels across land or underground, it dissolves natural minerals, sometimes radioactive materials, and substances from animal or human activities.

Potential contaminants include microbial contaminants from sewage treatment plants, septic systems, agricultural operations, or wildlife; inorganic contaminants like salts and metals from urban runoff, industrial discharge, oil/gas production, mining, or farming; pesticides and herbicides from agriculture, urban runoff, and residential uses; organic chemical contaminants from industrial processes and petroleum production; and radioactive contaminants from natural sources or human activities.

2. How does eBill work?
   Ridgewood Water transmits billing information to MCC for processing and payment availability. You'll receive email notification when your payment posts to Ridgewood Water. You can also view current status and payment history of all eBill transactions. All data remains on an encrypted, secure server and is never sold or released except to complete transactions.
3. How Do I Register?
   Registration requires minimal information. Create your account with your email address and password. You'll receive an email containing your Activation Number for first-time access. Either click the link in the email or return to the eBill homepage and login with your credentials and Activation number when prompted.
4. Is my information secure?
   eBill processes payments using a secure, 256-bit SSL encrypted webpage—the highest Internet security standard. All data remains in a secured database to prevent unauthorized access and is never shared.
5. What payment types are accepted?
   eBill accepts MasterCard®, Discover®, and American Express®. You may also pay via electronic check (ACH) from checking or savings accounts.
6. Can I schedule future payments?
   Yes, payments can be scheduled for future dates up to the cut-off date.
7. What information is needed to complete payment?
   You only need your current bill and valid bank account or credit card information. After your first payment, your bill information will be saved in the My eBills section for easier future payments.
8. When can I make payments?
   eBill is available 24/7 for your convenience.
9. Are there fees for using eBill?
   There are no signup or subscription fees. Credit card payments incur a non-refundable convenience fee based on the card type and payment amount.
