Located at 100 Water Drive in O'Fallon, Missouri, Water District 2 has evolved from its modest rural beginnings to become Missouri's largest water district, now serving approximately 75,000 residents. While some expansion came through utility acquisitions, the majority stems from direct customer growth within their service territory, which now spans over 400 square miles.
The district's coverage includes Lake St. Louis, Defiance, New Melle, Augusta, Dardenne Prairie, Dutzow, and portions of O'Fallon, Weldon Spring, Foristell, Innsbrook, and unincorporated areas of St. Charles and Warren Counties.
Recent infrastructure projects include a new Warrenton water tower, four replacement wells for the Defiance Water Treatment Plant, and expanded water mains throughout the service region. Additional pipelines, pump stations, and wastewater facilities are in planning stages, all aimed at maintaining reliable, high-quality service for district customers.
