About Us The City of Woodstock's Public Works Department fulfills an essential role in designing, maintaining, and operating the infrastructure where all residents and visitors of Woodstock live, work, and play. Under Public Works oversight, the city manages purchasing and distribution of surface water, wastewater treatment, maintenance of all city-owned water and sewer infrastructure, street and right-of-way maintenance, public stormwater facility upkeep, environmental regulation compliance, municipal infrastructure planning, and supervision of capital improvement projects.
