Glynn County has received a declaration of Individual Assistance (IA) from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). This assistance extends to homeowners without insurance and offers programs for insured property owners as well as support for small businesses.
FEMA has established a Disaster Relief Center (DNC) at Howard Coffin Park (1402 Sonny Miller Way, Brunswick, GA) serving both Glynn and McIntosh Counties. Residents can register for disaster assistance through www.Disasterassistance.Gov or by calling 1-800-621-FEMA (3362); TTY users can call 1-800-462-7585. A free FEMA app is also available in both Apple App Store and Google Play, providing disaster resources and allowing submission of disaster photos.
