   For disputed bills, customers should pay their average monthly amount until resolution. Contact customer service about our leak adjustment policy or submit a Leak Adjustment Request Form.
7. What is a backflow prevention device and why is it required?
   These devices prevent water from flowing backward into the system during pressure drops or backpressure situations. For homes with irrigation systems, these devices prevent contamination from fertilizers or bacteria entering the water supply. Annual testing ($50) is required by law under the Safe Drinking Water Act.
8. What is an E-1 Pump and why might I have one?
