Crestwood water supply information: The Village of Crestwood obtains its water from the Village of Alsip, which receives its supply from the City of Chicago. All municipal water, including bottled varieties, can be expected to contain trace amounts of certain contaminants. The presence of these substances doesn't automatically indicate any health risk. Where Does Our Water Come From? Our water sources include purchased water from the Five Star surface water treatment facility and deep wells drawing from the Tuscaloosa Aquifer, which consists of the Eutaw, Gordo, and Coker aquifer divisions. Our system utilizes a comprehensive Wellhead Protection Plan to safeguard these valuable resources.
