The Summerville Works Commission and Summerville Commissioners of Public Works have partnered with Santee Cooper to enhance the Santee Cooper Regional Water System. This system features a 40-million-gallon daily treatment facility and 26 miles of transmission pipeline that began operations in 1994.

The regional system processes and delivers water to your local utility, which maintains approximately 600 miles of distribution pipelines.
