The Missouri Division of Natural Resources has conducted a comprehensive assessment of our water sources to identify potential contamination risks. This process involved mapping source water regions for each well and performing contaminant inventories to evaluate threats to our supply.

Why might contaminants be present in my tap water? All water sources, including bottled water, naturally contain some level of contaminants. Their presence doesn't necessarily indicate a health risk. For more information about contaminants and potential health effects, call the EPA's Safe Drinking Water Hotline (800-426-4791).

Potential contaminant sources include:

• Microbial contaminants from sewage treatment, septic systems, agricultural operations, and wildlife
• Inorganic contaminants such as naturally-occurring minerals or substances from urban runoff, industrial discharge, oil/gas production, or agricultural operations
• Pesticides and herbicides from various agricultural, urban, and residential sources
• Organic chemicals from industrial processes, petroleum production, gas stations, urban runoff, and septic systems
• Radioactive contaminants that occur naturally or result from oil/gas production and mining

The Missouri Department of Natural Resources regulates our water system and requires regular testing to ensure safety. Our system ID number is MO5010458. Last year's test results are included in this report, with any violations clearly explained.

Our water is sourced from multiple groundwater wells including: Well #8 Glen Castle Street, Frisco Well (1942), Bowling Well, North Well, Reeves Well, South Well, and Utah Well.

Is it permissible to dispose of paint, oil or other materials into stormwater drains? Only clean water should enter the stormwater system. If you've accidentally spilled substances into a drain, contact the Council immediately at 03 520 7400 (available 24 hours). Stormwater drains flow directly to nearby waterways, and chemical spills can severely damage these ecosystems.

What steps should I take if my property experiences flooding? Contact Council at 03 520 7400 (24-hour service). Staff will investigate as quickly as possible, though immediate response may be delayed during severe weather events. We recommend documenting any flooding with photographs to assist with assessment and future design improvements after the storm passes.
