Board Of Water Commissioner Meetings
The Board meets monthly - please call (508) 477-6767 for schedule details. The annual District meeting occurs on the 4th Tuesday of April.
Key Milestones in Mashpee Water District History
- 1987: District formed by Chapter 136 of the Acts of 1987
- 1987-1990: Agreements allow water supply from Falmouth to contaminated Mashpee areas
- 1990: Quaker Run Road Well established
- 1991: Purchase of Highwood Water Company, expanding from 500 to 3,000 customers
- 1993: 3 million gallon Back Road water tank activated
- 1999: Turner Road Well begins operation and District consolidates operations
- 2002: Mashpee Village Well goes online
- 2003: 1 million gallon Meetinghouse Road tank and MMR Metering Station operational
- 2005: Belcher Road Well established
