About Us
Louisiana Water Company currently manages six public water supplies (PWS) throughout Louisiana. Our customers in Iberia Parish, Crowley, and Eunice receive groundwater from the Croc Aquifer. The DeQuincy and Mansura facilities draw water from the Evangeline Aquifer, while Lecompte's supply comes from the Williamson Creek Aquifer.
Each PWS utilizes water wells as their primary source. Our New Iberia, Crowley, and Eunice facilities operate water treatment plants that add lime to reduce hardness and remove unwanted minerals like iron and manganese. DeQuincy and Lecompte wells provide water of sufficient quality to flow directly into the distribution system. In Mansura, we source water from the Town of Cottonport.
We're proud to present our 2017 Water Quality Report. This document informs you about the quality of your water and the services we provide daily. (Este informe continue Anuncio muy importante relacionada so ague tolerable. Traduzcalo o Habla con Alguien que lo entienda bien.)
Our constant goal is delivering reliable, compliant water that meets all federal and state requirements. For more information about your water, please contact our local offices: New Iberia, Avery Island and Loreauville 365-0002, Crowley 788-1312, Eunice 457-1770, Lecompte and Mansura 800-375-0023, and DeQuincy 786-4426.
Federal and state regulations require the Louisiana Department of Health/Office of Public Health (LDH/OPH) to routinely monitor constituents in your municipal water. All water sources, including bottled water, can reasonably be expected to contain at least small amounts of some substances. Remember that the presence of a constituent doesn't necessarily indicate a health risk.
The Source Water Assessment Plan (SWAP) evaluates potential contamination risks to our water sources. According to this assessment, Lecompte, Crowley, Eunice, and Dequincy have high susceptibility ratings, while New Iberia and Cottonport received medium ratings, and Mansura scored low.
