NJ American Water - Coastal North

New Jersey American Water participates in the EPA's Partnership for Safe Water Program, a collaborative initiative between water utilities and government agencies committed to delivering water quality that exceeds federal requirements. The Partnership recognized New Jersey American Water's dedication to superior water quality by presenting the prestigious "Director's Award" to their surface water treatment facilities in Tinton Falls and Neptune (both in Monmouth County).

These facilities earned the "Director's Award" again in 2017 through the Partnership for Safe Water program, which is administered by the U.S. EPA, New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, and other water-related organizations. This award acknowledges water utilities that achieve operational excellence by voluntarily enhancing their treatment processes and implementing more stringent performance standards than those mandated by federal and state drinking water regulations.

1. CAN I OBTAIN A BUILDING PERMIT FOR A PROPERTY THAT IS NOT PLATTED? No. Building permits cannot be issued for properties that have not been platted or aren't a legal lot of record.
2. DOES MY ANIMAL NEED TO BE VACCINATED? The State of Texas and City of Mansfield Animal Control require annual rabies vaccinations. The City recommends all preventative vaccinations, which must be administered by a licensed Veterinarian.

5. HOW CAN I GET A COPY OF MY PLAT? Contact either the Planning Department or the appropriate County Plat Records office (Tarrant, Johnson, or Ellis).
6. HOW CAN I VOICE CONCERNS ABOUT A PROPOSED PROJECT? First, contact the Planning Department for relevant project information. Then attend Planning and Zoning Commission or City Council public hearings to learn about the project and express your opinions.
7. HOW MANY DOGS AND/OR CATS ARE ALLOWED PER HOUSEHOLD? The legal limit is four dogs or four cats, not exceeding a combined total of six animals over eight weeks old.
8. I FOUND A CAT OR DOG; HOW CAN I FIND ITS OWNER? Call Animal Care and Control at 817-276-4799 to check if the pet was reported missing. If keeping the pet temporarily, you should file a found report.
9. WHAT DO I DO IF I FIND AN INJURED OR DEAD ANIMAL? Contact Animal Control at 817-276-4799 for all questions regarding injured or deceased animals.
