North City Water District Municipal Water Report Info
Nob Hill Water Association serves the West Yakima area, covering portions within and outside the City of Yakima's corporate limits. With 11,135 service connections, they provide water to approximately 27,837 residents.

Established as a private non-profit corporation on December 26, 1908, Nob Hill Water transitioned to a private non-profit association in 1983. Initially, their water came from Pacific Power and Light Company, who owned Yakima's water system at the time.

When the City of Yakima acquired the water system from Pacific Power and Light in the early 1940s, Nob Hill Water drilled its own well in 1946, becoming independent from the city. Since then, it has continuously expanded to become the largest water system in the Yakima Valley aside from the City of Yakima itself.
