The Paris Board of Public Utilities was established in 1938 to provide electricity throughout Henry County and deliver water and wastewater services to Paris residents. City-owned yet independently governed, the utility is overseen by a board appointed by the mayor and confirmed by commissioners.
Sewer service was introduced to Paris in 1954. As a community-owned utility, we maintain affordable, non-profit rates while prioritizing exceptional customer service. We continuously explore innovative approaches to enhance our performance and service value.
