Bills must be paid by 3:00 PM on the 15th of each month.
- Where can I pay my bill?
Convenient payment locations in Storm Lake include the drop box in the City Hall parking lot or inside City Hall at: 620 Erie St., P.O. Box 1086, Storm Lake, IA 50588. Online payment is also available at: www.stormlake.org/payonline
For registration, you'll need your account number (found at the top right of your bill, example: 12-34567-890) and your last payment amount.
- Can my deposit be used for regular payments?
Regular account payments cannot be made using your deposit. However, you may apply your deposit to your final bill if you're not relocating to another apartment within Storm Lake where you'll need utility services in your name.
- What happens to my deposit?
Your combined utility deposit will be refunded after 24 consecutive months of penalty-free service. Customers moving out of Storm Lake or purchasing a home before the 24-month period will have their deposit applied to their final bill with any difference refunded. Those moving to another rental unit within Storm Lake will have their deposit transferred to their new account.
