About Us
Each July, the EPA requires municipal water providers to issue a Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) detailing contaminant levels in the system's tap water from the previous year. WaterPro is pleased to report that our water consistently meets all safety parameters for tested contaminants.
The full Water Quality Report is available here. As required by the EPA, we must include the following statement:
Water, including bottled varieties, may reasonably contain small amounts of certain contaminants. The presence of these substances doesn't necessarily indicate a health risk. For more information about contaminants and potential health effects, contact the EPA's Safe Drinking Water Hotline at 1-800-426-4791.
Certain populations may be more vulnerable to water contaminants than others. Immunocompromised individuals (cancer patients undergoing treatment, transplant recipients, those with HIV/AIDS or immune disorders, elderly persons, and infants) should seek advice from healthcare providers regarding their drinking water. EPA/CDC guidelines for reducing infection risks from Cryptosporidium and other microbial contaminants are available through the Safe Drinking Water Hotline.
Elevated lead levels can cause serious health problems, particularly for pregnant women and young children. Lead primarily enters drinking water through service line materials and household plumbing components. While Draper Irrigation/WaterPro provides quality drinking water, we cannot control plumbing materials used in homes. To minimize lead exposure, flush your tap for 30 seconds to 2 minutes before using water for consumption if it has been sitting unused. For concerns about lead, consider water testing. More information is available at www.epa.gov/safewater/lead.
