Unauthorized HYDRANT USE
Using Anson County Water Department fire hydrants for agricultural or other purposes without written permission from the Water Department violates state and federal law. Hydrants are reserved exclusively for authorized permitted users, water company, or fire department personnel. The Anson County Water Department will pursue legal action against any individual or business illegally accessing water from the Anson County water system. Please report suspicious activity to the Anson County Sheriff's Office or Water Department. Hydrant use permit information is available by calling 704-694-5208.
Service Interruptions
Occasionally, the Water Department experiences service interruptions due to maintenance or line breaks. We make every effort to restore service promptly. After hours, call 704-694-5208 for automated directions.
Billing Information
Water bills are due on the 15th of each month. Pay water bills Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm at 907 N. Washington Street, Wadesboro, NC.
Late and Reconnect Fees
If payment isn't received by 4:30 pm on the 20th of each month, accounts incur a $10.00 late fee. Service disconnection begins on the 26th, with a $25.00 reconnect charge for the first occurrence and $50.00 reconnect fee for each subsequent disconnection.
