Tiffin sits strategically between Toledo, Cleveland and Columbus, with convenient access via major highways from all directions. The community covers 6.6 square miles with the scenic Sandusky River flowing through its center. As of 2012, Tiffin's population stood at 17,828 residents. Often called "The Education Community," the city boasts two universities and numerous trade, technical and vocational institutions. The educational landscape includes city schools, a charter school, and a Roman Catholic high school. Since 1940, Weekday Religious Education has been available to elementary and middle school students.

What are the deposit and connection fees?
Water deposit is $125.00 for all customers. Seniors or disabled residents may qualify for a reduced deposit of $62.50 by completing the Reduced Water and Garbage form. Residents in the Sanitation District #2 sewage area may require an additional $50.00 deposit. Service name changes with meter readings have no charge. Standard connection fees are $15.00 during normal hours or $45.00 during overtime. Reconnection after non-payment costs $30.00 during normal hours or $60.00 during overtime.
