About Us
Aqua Pennsylvania, Inc. is proud to present our 2015 Consumer Confidence Report for the Main Program (public water supply ID PA1460073). This comprehensive report outlines the quality of water we delivered throughout 2015, including details about:
- Our water sources and collection methods
- What substances your tap water contains
- How our water quality compares to regulatory standards
While this report highlights regulated substances detected in 2015, we actually test for many more contaminants than listed here. For questions about this information, please call 610.645.4248 or visit our website at AquaAmerica.com.
Our water for the Main System comes from eight surface water sources and multiple groundwater wells. Source water assessments conducted in 2002-2003 for Chester, Ridley, Crum, Pickering, Perkiomen, and Neshaminy creeks, the Schuylkill River, and our groundwater wells indicated a moderate risk of significant contamination. You can find complete assessment reports through the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection website at www.depweb.state.pa.us (search "source water"). These reports were distributed to municipalities, water suppliers, planning agencies, and DEP offices, with complete versions available at the DEP Southeast Regional Office Records Management Unit (484.250.5900).
All water sources (both tap and bottled) contain naturally dissolved minerals and can pick up substances from animal presence or human activities as water moves over land or underground.
