About Us
Cal Water has been delivering quality water services to the Salinas community since 1962. Our system includes 31 groundwater wells that supply our customers through a network of three storage tanks, 14 booster pumps, and approximately 300 miles of pipeline. We're currently expanding our infrastructure with an additional well in North Salinas.
The primary water quality challenges we face in the Salinas area include elevated nitrate levels, MTBE contamination, and seawater intrusion. We're actively collaborating with the state's Regional Water Quality Control Board and Monterey County Water Resources Agency to address these concerns effectively.
For questions or feedback, please contact our local Customer Center by phone or through our website at www.calwater.com.
WATER CONSERVATION REMINDER: While we await permanent water-use regulations from the State of California, conservation remains essential. Using water wisely ensures adequate supply during drought periods and for future generations. Cal Water offers comprehensive conservation programs including rebates and free water-saving devices.
