New Jersey Water Utility Companies

We're proud to present this year's Annual Municipal Water Quality Report. This document outlines the quality water and services we provide daily. Our mission is to deliver safe, dependable water while continuously enhancing our treatment processes and protecting our valuable water resources.

Our water comes from three wells that draw from the Raritan and Englishtown Aquifers. The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) has completed a Source Water Assessment Report for our system, available at WWW.Kingdom.Nj.Us/dep/change or through NJDEP's Bureau of Safe Drinking Water at (609) 292-5550. You can also contact us directly for information about our water system's Source Water Assessment ratings and potential contaminant sources.

Certain individuals may have higher vulnerability to water contaminants than the general population. Those with compromised immune systems—including cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy, organ transplant recipients, people with HIV/AIDS, some elderly individuals, and infants—should seek advice from healthcare providers regarding their water consumption. The EPA/CDC offers guidelines on reducing infection risks from Cryptosporidium and other microbiological contaminants through the Safe Drinking Water Hotline (800-426-4791).

The Borough of Lavallette Water Utility consistently monitors for contaminants in accordance with Federal and State regulations. Our testing results from January 1st to December 31st, 2017 are shown in the accompanying table. Some contaminants are monitored less frequently than annually since their concentrations typically remain stable over time. Therefore, some of our data, while representative of water quality, may be more than one year old.
