The Lower Valley Water District strives to provide courteous and professional service to all customers, continuously working to supply water and wastewater services that meet all governmental regulations. The District remains committed to delivering safe, high-quality water to all residents in its service area.
ABOUT
Established as a municipal utility district in 1986, the Lower Valley Water District (LVWD) serves southeastern El Paso County, Texas. Currently offering water, wastewater, and solid waste services, the LVWD actively seeks funding from local, state, and federal agencies to develop adequate infrastructure across its 210 square mile territory east of El Paso City limits.
The service area encompasses the City of Socorro, San Elizario community, Town of Clint, and El Paso County areas including Sparks Addition, Sand Hills, and various Colonias. The District is governed by a five-member Board of Directors elected by taxpaying residents to staggered terms. These leaders work alongside management and staff to achieve their mission of providing essential utilities to Lower Valley residents.
