Magna Water District Municipal Water Report Info

Magna Water District receives treated municipal water through the SEQ Water Supply Network (Grid), which is managed and operated by Seqwater. Water may be drawn from various sources throughout the Grid, depending on operational supply requirements.

For example, treated municipal water can flow either south or north through the Southern Regional Water Pipeline (SRWP) to supply both Magna Water District and neighboring communities. The Eastern Pipeline Interconnector (EPI) can direct flow westward to supply Magna Water District or eastward to supply adjacent districts.

Both Seqwater and the District conduct comprehensive water quality monitoring programs to ensure safe municipal water delivery to all customers.
