About Us
Powdersville Water (PW) is proud to present our 2017 Annual Water Quality Report. Keeping our customers informed about their water quality and the services we provide daily is a top priority for us.
Our primary mission is providing residents with safe, reliable water. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and South Carolina Department of Health & Environmental Control (SCDHEC) have established strict water quality standards to protect consumers from bacteria and waterborne illnesses.
We're pleased to report that our water meets all federal and state requirements. Throughout the year, we collect hundreds of bacteriological samples from our system, which are tested by a SCDHEC-certified private laboratory. Additionally, PW maintains a comprehensive System Flushing Program to ensure adequate chlorine residual throughout the distribution network, guaranteeing proper disinfection of your water supply.
The enclosed reports further demonstrate PW's compliance with regulations, confirming that you receive safe, high-quality water at your tap.
