Can I access my bill online? Yes, by clicking the "Click here to view or pay on-line?" button on the right. Create an account using your billing ID found at the top of your bill. Is there a fee for receiving electronic statements? No, simply create your online account with your billing ID; switching from paper to digital requires just one click. Is there a charge for online payments? Yes, a $2.50 fee applies per transaction up to $300.00. Why do you charge for online payments? A third-party processes your payment information securely before transferring funds to us. We apply these costs only to those choosing online payment rather than distributing fees to all customers. You can pay ahead to maintain a credit balance and reduce transaction fees.

Where are you located? Our administration building is at 7995 West Quincy Avenue, approximately 500 feet west of the Wadsworth and Quincy intersection on Quincy's north side. We're the building behind the small security store. How can I pay my bill? Pay online at Lakehurstwater.org using e-checks or credit cards. We accept cash, checks, and money orders during business hours (8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday). An after-hours drop box is available at our District office. Credit card payments are only accepted online, not in the office.

What's the source of our water? Lakehurst Water and Sanitation District has an agreement with Denver Water Department to provide potable water to all customers. Denver Water supplies our District from their Marston and Foothills Water Treatment Plants. For more information, visit our links or water quality sections. Where are my water and sewer lines? Your water service line typically runs from the meter pit in your front or side yard to your basement or crawl space connection point, usually 4-5 feet deep. Sewer lines generally run within ten feet on either side of the water line, typically deeper and on the downhill side. Property owners are responsible for maintaining service lines from the mainline to their structures.

What should I do about a sewer backup? Call our office at 303-985-7895 anytime. We'll inspect our main sewer line in the street. If clear, the blockage is likely in your service line. We inspect main lines every 2-3 years and make necessary repairs to prevent backups from main line issues. What about water leaks? If you can't identify the source, call our office at 303-985-7895 for assistance. Most leaks occur in toilet tanks or sprinkler systems. Am I responsible for water lost through leaks? Yes. The District is responsible for delivering water to your meter; beyond that point, the property owner is responsible for all water usage and losses. We're billed by Denver Water through master meters and must pay for all water passing through them. Payment arrangements can be made if needed.
